Fresh, piping hot Googlebombing!

In light of the success of the miserable failure project, I'm going to propose a similar but more ambitious campaign of Googlebombing, to flex our Googly muscles. I'd like to see Google searches for Presidential inauguration or Presidential inauguration speech come up with the Onion's "Bush: 'Our Long National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity Is Finally Over'" article. Perhaps we can work on Bush inauguration too, but we should probably narrow it down to one or two of the combinations for truly surgical Googlebombing.

Added 2007/01/31: updated Onion links as described in this older post, even though there's not much point since Google seems to have taken measures against Googlebombing recently.

Back in the saddle

...to quote Orcinus. Been away a while. I'm back.

In other news, Laura Bush says, in speaking candidly about her husband's Thanksgiving trip:

"I think it was really one of the best-kept secrets ever," she said. "It had to be a really good secret because the security was so tight and because the president didn't want to jeopardize the lives of anyone to be able to do this." (emphasis added)

Isn't it rather too late for that now?
